RD-BR 2015 12-08 ROAD AND BRIDGE REPORT December 8,2015 Present: Commissioners Cory Kirsch and Bob Mullen and Road Supervisor, Rory Parsons. Rory Parsons reviewed the road and bridge report with the Commissioners. Montana City Crew The crew has been busy with winter maintenance and removing trees and brushes on the roadways. Boulder Crew The crew has been steaming culverts on Basin Creek Road and doing winter maintenance on the roadways. Parsons talked with McCauley this morning about the approaches on the roadway. He will view the approaches and have the crew work on them as needed. Whitehall Crew The crew has been busy with winter maintenance and removing brush from the roadways. The signs for Robbins Lane have arrived and will be installed this week. The signs will be placed on steel posts and cemented into the ground. Weight Limits Discussion was held regarding the establishment of weight limits on some roadways in the spring. Mullen will get a copy of the resolution adopted by Lewis & Clark County regarding weight limits on roadways. The Commission will discuss this issue at a later date. Call Outs The crew was called out on McClellan Creek Road by the highway patrol Saturday night. Parsons called out a crew member but the road was dry. Mr. Davis called Parsons about Highore Road. He wanted a deicer applied to the road. The crew put sand on the roadway.
