RD-BR 2015 08-18 ROAD AND BRIDGE REPORT August 18, 2015 Present: Commissioners Mullen, Wortman and Kirsch; Rory Parsons, Road Supervisor Rory stated that the Montana City crew has pub dust oil on Lump Gulch,painted crosswalks at the school and is grading Warm Springs. The Boulder crew is brooming chips in Bernice and Elk Park. They are also installing new signs on the Whitetail and Little Boulder Roads. The Boulder and Whitehall crews will be chip sealing 2.8 miles in Madison County, and Madison County will help us this fall with belly dumps to haul millings. Commissioner Wortman asked Rory to keep close track of the hours, in case we receive any complaints. Rory reported that he checked in on the Dunn Lane Bridge project the previous day. The old bridge is out and the rip-wrap is on the banks. They will be driving the pilings soon. He noted that the Careys would like the old concrete from the bridge. Rory said that they are hoping to get about 7 miles of striping done in late August. He is in contact with the striping company. Rory stated that he needs to meet with NorthWestern Energy to discuss Vigilante Trail. The gas line is 8 inches underground.
