RD-BR 2015 09-15 ROAD AND BRIDGE REPORT September 15, 2015 Present: Commissioners Mullen, Wortman and Kirsch; Rory Parsons,Road Supervisor Rory gave the Commissioners crew updates. The Montana City crew is grading Clancy Creek and Wicks Roads. The Boulder crew is putting down top soil and seeding Upper Valley Road and mowing in the Boulder area. The Whitehall crew is grading Boulder Cutoff Road and helping the Boulder crew haul top soil. Rory stated that they are setting the beams for the Dunn Lane Bridge and will pour the end caps on Thursday. Backfill is scheduled for next week and the guardrail will be placed before the County lays gravel. He said that the project may be completed before the beginning of October. Rory said that he talked to Gilman the previous day and milling will probably start early next week. They have been discussing where the millings will go and he has signed an agreement with MDT on the placement. He is looking for a place to stockpile the millings in Basin. Rory said that he and Commissioner Wortman looked at Robins Lane yesterday and the landowner has until September 30 to remove the gate. Rory noted that once this is resolved,we should put up a"dead end" sign. Rory stated that last night he got a call from the striping company at 5:00 p.m. Gene met with them and got the striping project done by 5:45.
