RD-BR 2019 02-05 ROAD AND BRIDGE REPORT February 5, 2019 Present: Commissioners Wortman, Mullen and Kirsch; Rory Parsons, Road Supervisor Rory Parsons, Road Supervisor, gave an update on what the various crews have been working on. He said that they have four trucks in Montana City yesterday and today, and have three running in Boulder. He stated that last week they got everything in the Boulder Valley and Elk Park winged back,just in time for more snow. Rory stated that Muskrat Lane was closed on Sunday, as it had 4-5 foot drifts and no visibility. He opened it back up yesterday. The Whitehall crew finally got to do winter maintenance yesterday, but they still don't have as much snow as the rest of the county. Rory stated that the weight limits letters are written and will be sent out today, and will also be published in the papers. Rory stated that the crews started on the river channel last week and got a couple days of work in. They got brush out and stacked and got the excavator in before the weather turned. Rory stated that there was a call out Saturday night. He got a call from the Sheriff's office for sand on Muskrat Road for a structure fire. On Sunday, two crew members and himself were out here and two in the north end.
