DEPT HEAD 2019 05-28 EVENT COORDINATOR Event Coordinator Meeting May 28,2019 Present: Commissioners -Leonard Wortman, Bob Mullen, Cory Kirsch, County Attorney, Steve Haddon, and Event Coordinator, Bruce Binkowski. Discussion was held on whether or not to require those who rent the fairgrounds for weddings, etc. to provide liability insurance with the county named as an additional insured. If alcohol is sold at the event, they must purchase a permit. Mullen asked if the renters could pay an additional fee for the county insurance policy to cover the event. MACO will be contacted to answer the question. Haddon will reword the rental agreement making it a requirement for renters to provide liability insurance naming the county as an additional insured for the event.
