RD-BR 2019 12-03 ROAD AND BRIDGE REPORT December 3,2019 Present: Commissioners: Leonard Wortman, Cory Kirsch and Bob Mullen, Road Supervisor, Rory Parsons. Rory Parsons reviewed the road and bridge report with the Commissioners. Minutes Mullen moved to approve the following minutes: Road and Bridge November 12 Road and Bridge November 19 County Treasurer November 19 Teamsters Union November 19 Road and Bridge November 26 Nationwide Insurance November 26 Kirsch seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Road Crews The crews have been busy plowing snow and sanding roadways. The Boulder crew will install the drift fence in Elk Park this week. Parsons called all available crew members out on Saturday to work on the main roadways. Discussion was held on a few of the roadways around the county. Parsons and Kountz job openings will close on December 13. Parsons will be on vacation December 24-27. Hot Springs Bridge The drillers are working today. Parsons may be able to open the roadway tomorrow if they are finished. Equipment Discussion was held regarding some of the equipment. Vetsch has some minor repairs to make on a couple of the snow plows. Grizzly Diesel has finished the work on the snow plow that has been there since August.
