RES 1966 EMERGENCY EXPENDITURE (BOILER) RESOLUTION FOR EMERGENCY EXPENDITURE WHEREAS, on th- / day of December, 1965, the boiler used to heat the Jefferson County Courthouse became accidentally and irreparably damaged to the extent that it was of no further use in heating the courthouse and because of the cold seasonable condition then and now existing and the legal duty resting upon this Board to keep all county offices functioning, and the im- possibility of keeping the county offices in the courthouse open without providing heat for them; IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED and agreed by the undersigned being the members of the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners, by i:- Unanimous vote, that the boiler failure referred to above created an emergency as defined by Section 16 -1907 (5) R.C.M. 1947 as amended, which requires an immediate emergency expenditure of public funds to replace the damaged boiler and restore heat to the Jefferson County Courthouse.
