RES 1988-09 JUSTICE COURT MONEY RESOLUTION NO. - > WHEREAS, an examination of the accounting system of the Justice Court of Jefferson County, as set forth in the attached letter dated April 21, 1988, establishes that there is an extra $30.00 in the accounts of said Court, which sum of money is unaccounted for; and, WHEREAS, it appears that such unaccounted for sum has resulted in part from the fact that the State of Montana changed the accounting system for Justice Courts, on July 1, 1987, with little or no notice; and, WHEREAS, the Justice Court has been advised by auditors that the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County should pass a resolution placing the extra $30.00, presently unaccounted for, into the county general fund subject to the provision that, should the proper account for such sum ever be found, the same could be returned to the Justice Court accounts; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said "extra" $30.00, presently unaccounted for and remaining in the accounts of the Justice Court of Jefferson County, shall be transferred into the county general fund, subject to the provision that, should the Justice Court determine the nature of the proper account in which said funds belong, the said $30.00 shall be returned to the Justice Court accounts and be disposed of accordingly.
