RES 1986-14 WAGES BY HOUR RESOLUTION NO. 14 -56 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has statutory authority to manage the business of the county and to promulgate and enforce such rules for its government operations as may be necessary, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that it would be in the best business interests of the county to pay all County employees, except for elected officials and deputies whose annual salaries are defined by statute, for work performed on an hourly basis, and WHEREAS, immediate adoption of this resolution as an emergency measure is necessitated by the demand for the proper administration of payroll and for the preservation of peace among County officials and employees thus requiring adoption of this resolution as an emergency resolution pursuant to Title 7, Chapter 5, Part 22, MCA, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that all County employees, except for elected officials and deputies, shall receive monthly paychecks for work performed on an hourly basis. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution hereby specifically supercedes all prior resolutions or operating directives in conflict herewith and, as an emergency measure, becomes effective this date.
