RES 1986-13 WARRANTS TO BE PAID LAST DAY OF MONTH RESOLUTION NO. 13 - 86 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has statutory authority to manage the business of the county and to promulgate and enforce such rules for its government operations as may be necessary, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that it would be in the best business interests of the county to change the date upon which county warrants are issued from the 2nd day of each month to the last day of each month, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the county payroll warrants shall be issued on the last day of each month by four o'clock p.m. on such day. Time sheets for that month's payment records shall be received in the office of the Clerk and Recorder not later than thirty minutes past eight o'clock a.m. on the day preceding the last day of each month. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if the above - referenced payday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, warrants will be issued on the preceding Friday by four o'clock p.m.; if the payday falls on a holiday, warrants will be issued on the preceding regular business day by four o'clock p.m. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution hereby specifically supercedes all prior resolutions or operating directives in conflict herewith and becomes effective on August 14, 1986.
