RES 1985-18 CHANGE PAYROLL Wt 0 RESOLUTION NO. S WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has statutory authority to manage the business of the county and to promulgate and enforce such rules for its government operations as may be necessary, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that it would be in the best business interests of the county to change the date upon which county warrants are issued from the 5th of each month to the 2nd day of each month, and WHEREAS, immediate adoption of this resolution as an emergency measure is necessitated by the demand for proper record keeping and accounting practices thus requiring adoption of this resolution as an emergency resolution pursuant to Title 7, Chapter 5, Part 22, MCA, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the county payroll warrants shall be issued on the 2nd day of each month by four o'clock p.m. on such day. Time sheets for that month's payment records shall be received in the office of the Clerk and Recorder not later than nine o'clock a.m. on the last working day of the preceding month. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if the above - referenced payday falls on a Saturday, warrants will be issued on the preceding Friday by four o'clock p.m.; if the payday falls on a Sunday warrants will be issued on the following Monday by four o'clock p.m. and if the payday falls on a holiday, warrants will be issued on the next following regular business day by four o'clock p.m. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution hereby specific- ally supercedes all prior resolutions or operating directives in conflict herewith and, as an emergency measure, becomes effective this date.
