RES 1980-05 FAIR MONEY R E S O L U T I O N # 5 - 80 IT appearing that the business of the County Requires it the Board of County Commissioners approved the following resolution. WHEREAS, Title 7, Chapter 6 -2218 provides that the Board of County Commissioners of any county in Montana shall have the power and authority to appropriate, by formal resolution, money received from the federal or state government, regardless of the time the money is received, and WHEREAS, monies received under Title 90, Chapter'b, 201 are to be used to assist local governmental units which have been regtjired to expand the provision of public services, and other purposes, and to support public endeavor, and WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners did by resolution, so designate that Pahment in Lieu of Tax monies be distributed to vatious county cash funds in effort to alleviate the tax levies, in Jefferson County, and WHEREAS, The County Commissioners designated the amount of $4,000.00 to be given to the County Agricultural Cash Fund, and WHEREAS, the County Fiar cash is in need of $1000.00 in cash for the purchase of a building in which to hold public meetings and fairs, which are conducted under the supervision of the County Agricultural Agent, now THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the County Treasurer be instructed to transfer $1000.00 in cash from the Agricultural Agent Cash Fund to the County Fair Cash fund. That this amends the original designation of Lieu of Tax Funds as found in Book 4 of the County Proceedings, page 103.
