RES 1979-04 PAYROLL PROCEDURES Motion made by Leslie J. Sodorff and seconded by Delbert M. Bullock to accept the recommendations as set forthas set forth by the Department of Community Affairs regarding work time accounts and payroll regulations as per the following resolution: R E S O L U T I O N Be it known that we, The Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, Boulder, Montana, do HEREBY RESOLVE that the following procedures will be implemented beginning immediately by the Board regarding payroll accounting: 1. Time cards will be turned into the office of the County Clerk and Recorder for all.county employees from the hours of 8:00,-a.m. until noon of the first working day of each month for time worked on the previous month. No phone calls regarding time accumulations will be accepted in lieu of time cards. If these cards are not in to the payroll office by noon as specified, no paycheck will be issued for that period of time in question. The exception being elected county officials. 2. Payroll warrants will be picked up by the heads of the departments or one other person delegated from the department for all those employees working within their jurisdiction. In no case will there be more than two persons per department authorized to pick up payroll .warrants. Authorization for delegation will be in writing at the direction of the department head and will remain in force until terminated by the head of the department. Payroll warrants will in no case.be issued to anyone other that the above specified persons. 3. Payroll warrants previously mailed out for individuals, will continue to be mailed as in past practice. 4. Road payroll warrants for the Clancy District and Whitehall District will be picked up by the respective commissioners from the district and distributed by them to their employees as in past practice. 5. Official Accumulative vacation and sick time records will be kept in the office of the County Clerk and Recorder. The update for time earned will be posted monthly by the payroll clerk.
