Executive D r for County Commissioners f R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, a significant number of Senior Citizens reside in Jefferson County, and WHEREAS, the talents and abilities of these Senior Citizens should not be ignored, and WHEREAS, community awareness of the Senior Citizens is vital for the identification of needs and problems leading to a final solution: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Rocky Mountain Development Council will act as the Planning Agency to coordinate and administer all Senior Programs for the tri- county area. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Rocky Mountain Development Council will organize and direct the Tri- County Council on Aging. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Tri--County Council on Aging will study, evaluate and plan policy on all aspects of the elderly in Broadwater, Jefferson and Lewis and Clark Counties. Regular reports will be made to the various County Commissioners to keep them apprised of the progress and accomplishments of the Council. Dated this �_ day of 1973. IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual covenants hereinafter set forth, Contractor and Subcontractor.agree as follows; 1. The Subcontractor will employ a part --time Rural Coordinator from the date first above written until June 30, 1974, to carry out the duties listed in attachment "A" within Jefferson County, Montana. 2. The Contractor agrees to reimburse Subcontractor for the expense of employing said Rural Coordinator, including salary, fringe and travel, up to the amount of over the period in which this contract is in effect. Ability to communicate well verbally. Ability to sympathize with people and their problems. Salary: Open Responsible directly to the Senior Programs Coordinator. Duties: 1. Conduct initial interviewing of rural area shut -in seniors. 2. Conduct constant outreach work to locate and invite new seniors to participate. 3. Accept specific responsibilities as outlined by the Project Director. 4. Be able to explain all Rocky Mountain Development Council's programs to senior citizens. 5.
