Jefferson County seeks a permanent full-time Manager for its Solid Waste District. This position will be responsible for planning, financing,designing, constructing and operating a solid waste management system consistent with the State of Montana’s management plan and all state laws and regulations. Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred, but not required. Minimum of three to five years experience in solid waste management and employee supervision required. Jefferson County seeks a qualified person to fill the position of County Clerk and Recorder/County Assessor/Surveyor/Election Administrator until the next general election which will beheld in November, 2022. Applicant must meet the following qualifications: be of the voting age required by the Montana constitution; a citizen of the state, and an elector of the county. The Clerk is the ex-officio clerk of the county commissioners, ex-officio recorder, ex-officio election administrator and also assumes responsibilities in recording surveys and administering the county budget.
